The AVK Internship Programme provides participants with exposure to multiple business functions through a planned rotation structure. Instead of working in a single department, interns will gain experience across several operational areas.

This approach allows graduates to understand how different business units work together and how commercial decisions are made within a large industrial company.

Fields of Study

AVK Southern Africa is looking for candidates who are final-year students or recent graduates in the following fields:

• Business
• Commerce
• Marketing
• Management
• Industrial Engineering
• Operations Management
• Related fields

Key Responsibilities

During the internship, participants will rotate through various departments and assist with operational tasks.

Responsibilities may include:

• Participating in departmental rotations such as Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality
• Assisting with administrative tasks and reporting
• Supporting data capturing and analysis
• Assisting with process improvement initiatives
• Preparing summaries and presentations on project findings
• Learning about AVK’s products, services and internal operations

This structure provides interns with a holistic understanding of business operations.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Final-year student or recent graduate in a relevant field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work with data and numerical information
